Do you feel like you are living a Peaceful & Balanced life?

To me, living a peaceful life means having a regulated and balanced nervous system.

For example, when we talk about work/life balance we are seeking a balanced nervous system.

Unfortunately a lot of our most common environments are not designed for a healthy life (loud and busy workplaces, endless traffic and construction, cities without easily accessible green spaces) contributing to a dis-regulated nervous system and state of Chronic Stress.

Sadly, our culture correlates stress with productivity. That might be true in the short term but in the long term it leads to physical conditions that are often hard to diagnose by traditional medicine.

I personally hate the expression "High Performing" - to me that just means you are running on fumes and are on the edge of burnout. Is that promotion really worth it then? When I was "high performing" I was at my Most Miserable. I used to have digestive issues and had no energy to take care of myself. I gained about 20lbs. I was sluggish and I literally felt my muscles atrophying from sitting on a chair all day. I was irritable and the idea of one more meeting or deliverable when I was working 10-12 hour days already risked to send me over the edge.

I quit my job cold turkey and I even cried my last week after holding it all in for 6 years.

I couldn't wait to LEAVE. My body literally rejected the toxic workplace environment.

Once I left my chronic stress job and started prioritizing my nervous system. My digestive issue were gone, I was eating better and I started going to the gym while working only 8 hours a day. I was fitter, so MUCH happier and more emotionally resilient.

That is why my ultimate goal as a coach is to deliver you to a peaceful life and a balanced nervous system. To me there is nothing more Precious than that.
